Materials: hair spray, comb, hair tie, bobby pins

Step 1- part out a bang section from one ear to the other with other with the point of the comb

Step 2- French braid starting at the ear, continuing to the opposite ear, across the forehead

Step 3- continue parting around the head

Step 4- continue French braiding around the hair line, around the entire head

Step 5- continue to section off hair around lower neck and continue French braiding EXTRA HELP: use bobby pins to keep sections separate

Step 6- continue to section off hair going around the head, Spiral in towards the middle

Step 7- working the braid around the head aligning it with the first braid EXTRA HELP: Continue parting

Step 8- continue steps for 3 or 4 spirals total (depending on thickness of hair) EXTRA HELP: the closer you get to the center of the head the less important it is to part it, just keep adding in hair

Step 9- finish last spiral with a messy bun, ponytail, or whatever you desire

Step 10- fix loose braids with bobby pins or tuck them in with the end of the comb

Step 11- finally hair spray the final product and enjoy
Love the style, but I think I took it too far on Step 10. My braids were so tight (literally and figuratively). I had myself a big old headache by lunch. Do you think this has anything to do with my hair’s usual spiked style just not being ready for a look so seriously smooth as this? Thanks for any help you can offer!
